Relax and enjoy the conversation, banter, and at times, ignorance, of three good friends as Sam, Marty, and Fr Dave delve into their history of adventures, faith stumbling blocks, and moments of grace. From 2006 to 2008 Sam Clear walked 15,600km around the world for the unity of the church. He nearly died 11 times. His good mates, Marty & Fr Dave, were his support crew before, during and after the enormous journey. Each episode the three friends pick apart an aspect of the walk for unity and how it plays out in everyday life. From Church history to personal prayer, from overcoming adversity to their favourite saints, and the occasional guest thrown in, Sons of Thunder is a podcast for all ages - listen, learn, laugh. What is the message of the Gospel? What is the Good News? Season 2 begins with a four part series on the Gospel, beginning in part I with, in the beginning. What a splendid place to start. In the beginning we were created good, and with purpose. Out of the studio and in their home states the Sons of Thunder take social distancing too far, sitting some 4000km apart from each other.
